freshStart depends totally on good will and gifting, of time, new and used goods, and money.

It is manned by volunteers and has no employment costs or overheads.

Here are ways that you can help us to help people to help themselves.

 

Financial Donations

Every penny counts and 100% of all donations are used to support the purpose of freshStart -Helping People to Help Themselves

You can make a cash donation to freshStart directly into the bank, by EFT:-

OR

You can also make a cash donation to freshStart using BackaBuddy by clicking on the button and simply follow the instructions. If you wish to donate using PayPal, please use this BackaBuddy option.

Using BackaBuddy: To donate in a currency other than S.A. RAND you will need to follow these simple instructions:

SELECT AMOUNT -if you are not donating in RAND, then you need to click on the (CURRENCY CONVERTER) highlighted at OTHER AMOUNT.

-A new box will open

-Select your currency

-Insert amount you wish to donate

-Click on Convert

-Click on Donate

This will return you to the previous page, simply complete the next two boxes.

When it comes to “CHOSE YOUR PAYMENT OPTION” and “CONTINUE TO THE NEXT STEP”.

For contributions outside of S.A. please select PayPal.

This is only the PREFERRED option. If you do not have a PayPal account, please use one of the other options.

Donation of Items and or time

The Smutsville Recycle SwopShop depends on goodwill and gifting….of time, creativity, second-hand goods, new items and cash.

  • It is registered as a not for profit company so donations are tax-deductible in S.A.
  • It is manned by volunteers and has only minimal, mandatory overheads.

All financial and item donations go to ensure that the Smutsville Recycle SwopShop is sustainable and always has items on offer that are needed by the children (toiletries, stationery, clothing and blankets) as well as aspirational items (soccer balls, netballs, skateboards and dolls) and weekly fruit.

and Ballare School of Ballet, St Mark’s Hall, Cathedral Street, George.
